Why Arlington Baptist Church?

Worship:

"O Come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker" - Psalm 95:6

The Bible calls us to worship God by recognizing Him as our Creator and Lord and humbly submitting ourselves to Him.  We do this through singing His praises, supporting His church, and obeying His message as it is preached from His Word.

Bible Study:

"But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."
- Matthew 4:4

Bible study is food for our soul.  Stretch your mind and feed your heart on the powerful truths of God's Word.  We want to help you to develop your understanding of God's Word that you might "grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ..."
- 2 Peter 3:18

 Fellowship:

"That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ." - I John 1:3

The Church is a community of believers.  We would love to have you  worship and serve the Lord together with us.  We are not perfect; "But if we walk in the light as he is in the light we have fellowship one with another..." I John 1:7a

Faith:

"Now the just shall live by faith" - Hebrews 10:38a

At Arlington Baptist Church we will introduce you to the One who created you and sustains you.  We will encourage you to know God and to study His Word (the Bible).  Knowing Him and His Word, we can walk through life's trials by faith.

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." - Hebrews 11:1

Family:

Busy lives and endless commitments can pull a family in many different directions.  We believe families are important, and that Arlington Baptist Church is a place where your family can grow stronger.  Families that base their lives on God's Word will have a firm foundation through all of life.

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." - Proverbs 22:6
